Donald Pettie
Donald Pettie ( Donald A. "Don" Pettie; born March 28, 1927 in Calgary ; † August 12, 2017 ibid) was a Canadian sprinter .
In 1948 he was eliminated from the Olympic Games in London over 200 m in the run and came in the 4-by-100-meter relay with the Canadian team in fifth place.
At the British Empire Games in Auckland in 1950 , he won bronze over 100 yards . Over 220 yards and in the four-by-440-yard relay, he finished fifth.
In 1949 he became the Canadian 100-yard and 220-yard champion.
