The Doran Glacier is a glacier in East Antarctic Victoria Land . On the northern slope of the Kukri Hills, it lies between the Sollas and Marr glaciers .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1997 based on the name of the Doran Stream , which leads to the Taylor Valley as a meltwater flow from this glacier . Its namesake is the American paleolimnologist Peter T. Doran, who worked in the area of McMurdo Sound and the Antarctic dry valleys from 1993 .
