Doreen Porter

Doreen Porter ( Doreen Helen Porter, later Porter-Shann; born July 21, 1941 in Auckland ) is a former New Zealand sprinter .

In 1962 she won silver over 100 yards at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth and bronze with the New Zealand 4-by-110-yard relay. She finished sixth over 220 yards.

At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, she reached the quarter-finals over 100 m and the semi- finals over 200 m .

In 1961, 1962 and 1964 she was both over 100 yards and 220 yards New Zealand champion.
