União the Freguesias de São João das Lampas e Terrugem , shortly São João das Lampas e Terrugem is a municipality ( freguesia ) in the Portuguese circuit ( Concelho ) of Sintra .

The municipality has 16,505 inhabitants on an area of ​​83.60 km² (figures as of June 30, 2011).

It was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the municipalities of São João das Lampas and Terrugem . São João das Lampas is the seat of this newly formed community.
