The village church of Albersdorf is in the municipality of Albersdorf in the Saale-Holzland district in Thuringia . It belongs to the parish Schöngleina-Schlöben in Kirchenkreis Eisenberg of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

history

The village church emerged from a chapel in the 13th century.

After a fire in 1717, the village church was rebuilt as a hall church with a retracted choir . The church tower was added to the nave in the western front. The three-sided galleries date from this time. Under the organ loft one is lately Winterkirche been established.
