The village church of Crispendorf is in Crispendorf in the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia .

history

The church stands on a hill on the edge of the village of Crispendorf.

The free-standing, early classical pulpit altar is framed by two horseshoe-shaped galleries . At the end of the galleries there are two patron saints' boxes with windows protruding from the wall. In 1920 a painter from Ziegenrück created the pictures on the balustrades and on the altar . The altar table is under the pulpit. In one picture, the sinking Peter is held by Jesus . From the previous church there is a Gothic shrine with Anna the third and John the Baptist on the wings and in the middle Maria with child. Two angels hold the crown over her . On the right and left are the figures of three bishops.

The baptismal bowl was purchased in 1714. The people donated the baptismal font in 1893 in memory of a teacher.
