history
The Brandenburg State Office for the Preservation of Monuments and the State Archaeological Museum (BLDAM) states that the building was based on a design by Arthur Mäkelt (* 1881) or A. Witt. It is certain that the church was built in 1911. A renovation took place in 1999 and 2000 .
Building description
The structure was essentially built from bricks , which were then plastered . The polygonal choir in its facade has not moved in; the choir east wall windowless. To the north and south, arcade arches are drawn into the side panels, exposing the rectangular floor plan. On the north side is a simple, upright rectangular gate. There is a small window on the south side. In the roof, which is covered with beaver tail , there is a bat dormer to the east .
The nave has a rectangular floor plan. On the north and south sides, four segment-arched windows are evenly distributed over the nave. Its shape is accentuated by a brightly contrasting bezel and an equally brightly contrasting keystone. At the transition to the gable roof is a circumferential cove . In the middle of the roof is a small bat dormer on each side.
Compared to the rest of the building, the western facade is relatively richly designed. In the middle of the lower floor there is a large, segment-arched gate that can be reached via a small staircase. On the left and right is a small and tall rectangular window. Above each are three ox eyes . Its keystone is highlighted and touches a horizontal axis that merges into the ship at the level of the surrounding haunch. The curved gable is also plastered; in the middle a small and tall rectangular window. Above is a clock tower . A rectangular wooden roof turret rises above the gable . It has a small sound arcade on each side and ends with a pyramid roof with a tower ball and cross.
Furnishing
The church furnishings come from the time the church was built. The pulpit altar and the horseshoe gallery are painted with ornaments.
