history

The sacred building was built in 1793. In 1832 the parish enlarged the windows and placed the pulpit from the north side of the nave over the altar. The Luckenwalde master carpenter Heinrich renewed the gallery and the stalls. In 1881 craftsmen renovated the compartment and covered the tower with slate. A renovation took place from 1981 to 1983.

Building description

View into the nave

The building was mainly made of half-timbered timber painted black. The clay compartment is plastered white . The choir has not been drawn in and has a three-sided end as well as a rectangular window on the north and south sides.

This is followed by the nave . On its north side are two large, also rectangular windows. They are supplemented on the south side by two rectangular gates each to the left.

The western wall and the gable , on the other hand, were made of dark brick . It leads to the tower floor , which is square and strongly indented. There are two sound arcades on the west wall and a sound arcade on the north and south walls . This is followed by the bent helmet , which ends with a tower ball and weather vane.

Furnishing

The uniform furnishings, including a pulpit altar , come from the time the church was built. There is also a goblet and a pewter wine jug from the second half of the 18th century. The interior of the church has a flat roof.
