history

Historical representation of the demolished church

In the time of National Socialism in 1935 there were considerations to give up the place in favor of a military training area . A large part of the inhabitants therefore left the place in autumn 1936. It fell completely desolate in 1937 ; the village church was demolished.

After the end of the Second World War , the place was repopulated. Parts of the building material from the old church were used for new buildings. In the time of the GDR the desire for a church of their own arose. At the end of the 1980s, the parish bought a piece of land and had a sacred building built, which was inaugurated in 1987 . The church was designed in such a way that it could also be used multiple times as a parish hall.
