The Protestant village church in Lennewitz , a district of the Legde / Quitzöbel community in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg , was built in 1909/10. The church on Dorfstrasse is a protected architectural monument .

The church was built in place of a previous building according to plans by the royal building officer Georg Büttner , who also built the village church in Bälow .

The hall building with a polygonal east choir and high west tower was executed in the eclectic style of reform architecture and Art Nouveau . A baptistery is built to the north .

Furnishing

The interior has a coffered wooden barrel with girders and a uniform painting from the construction period. The leaded glass windows depict rural scenes and the namesake of the local families.

The organ was installed in the old church in 1877 by Friedrich Hermann Lütkemüller from Wittstock and taken over in the new one.
