Village church in Bälow

The Protestant village church in Bälow , a part of the municipality of Rühstädt in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg , was built in 1914/15 with parts of the previous building from 1661. The church on Bälower Dorfstrasse is a protected architectural monument .

The hall building of brick masonry was according to the plans of the Royal Commissioner of City Planning Georg Büttner built. The south entrance is integrated into a sign . The rectangular tower is closed by a pointed helmet .

Furnishing

The interior design was done by the Berlin church painter Otto Steinacker .

Parts of the furnishings were taken over from the previous building: the wooden altarpiece and the pulpit in Baroque forms date from the late 18th century. The pulpit was changed in 1912.

The organ was installed in 1915 by Martin Pflug from Wittenberge .
