history

The year 1723 is carved into the north entrance of the baroque rectangular church with a retracted square west tower .

The interior is decorated with a splendid pyramid pulpit altar from 1725 with stylized palm trees, angels, Moses , the favorite disciple of Jesus and the triumphant Christ at the top. The altar is painted in color; the floors in the choir room are tiled with checkerboard patterns, rust-red and beige. The large windows give a lot of light into the rooms.

The organ of August Witzmann from 1867 is currently not playable.

The bells were cast in 1629 by the Erfurt masters Hieronymus and Melchior Moering .
