Quadenschönfeld village church
The village church Quadenschönfeld is a listed Protestant church building in Quadenschönfeld, a district of Möllenbeck in the Mecklenburg Lake District ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ). The Feldsteinkirche is one of the churches of the parish Rödlin-Warbende in the Neustrelitz Propstei in the Mecklenburg parish of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany ( Northern Church ).
History and architecture
The hall church from the beginning of the 15th century is accessed through a stepped portal on the side . The building was extensively renovated at the beginning of the 18th century. A crypt was added to the north side and the windows changed. The brick west tower with a bell storey was added in 1847.
Furnishing
- The pulpit altar was built in the first half of the 18th century and shows a relief on the basket depicting the baptism of Christ ; coats of arms are attached to the acanthus cheeks .
- The bell was cast in the 15th century.
