history
After the church burned down in the Thirty Years War , a simple baroque building was built using old components.
The house has a three-part choir end with small arched windows, otherwise they are rectangular with stone and wooden walls . The entrance door is to the west. The mansard roof , resting on an octagonal storey , is crowned by a ridge turret and tail hood with a helmet and weather vane directly on it with the year 1787.
The Bronze - church bell poured in 1755 Glockengießer Martin Rose of the Rose bell foundry in Apolda - it is apparently the only bell foundry of Martin Rose preserved to this day.
The Kanzelwand fills the sanctuary full-width and a ray sun. The baroque building has a clear architecture that was simplified in the 19th century, including double galleries , a wooden baptismal frame with a lid, baroque baptismal angels and an altar cross. The wooden altar dates from 1871, the organ from the Förtsch company from Blankenhain .
