Wutike village church
The Wutike village church is a Protestant church in the Wutike district of the Gumtow community in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg . It belongs to the parish Jäglitz-Nadelbach in the Prignitz parish of the Evangelical Church Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia .
architecture
The church is a hall building made of field stones with a transverse tower on the west side from the second half of the 15th century. The tower is provided with a transverse gable roof and stepped gables decorated with panels made of brick.
history
Built in the 15th century, the size of the nave was doubled around 1630 by adding a half-timbered extension . The altarpiece also dates from this period . The rectangular windows and the galleries in the east and west are from a renovation in the 17th century . The organ was built in 1890.
