Positions in politics

Family policy

Doris Rauscher has set the focus of her political work on a social family policy. It is important to her that there are equal educational opportunities for all children. It has therefore been campaigning for improvements in early childhood education for years - especially with regard to the working conditions for daycare staff - and calls for free access to educational offers from daycare to studies. In this context, together with daycare representatives from all over Bavaria, she founded a daycare alliance in 2018 and published a petition calling for quality improvements. More support for single parents and measures such as more flexible working hours to make it easier to combine family and work are important to her.

Social policy

As a spokesperson for social policy, Doris Rauscher calls for changes for employees, especially in social professions, and for people with disabilities. Her focus is on good conditions on the labor market , fair wages and better support for the unemployed . In addition, she calls for a housing campaign for Bavaria, with the help of which more affordable housing is to be created. Another focus is the fight against poverty, especially among children.

Senior policy

She placed another focus on senior citizens 'policy and in 2018 introduced a senior citizens' participation law into the state parliament. With this she called for senior representatives in each municipality as well as a senior representative in the Bavarian state parliament for more influence and co-determination options for senior citizens in Bavaria. In addition to the Senior Citizens' Participation Act, it also advocates age-appropriate and alternative forms of living, measures against poverty in old age and improvements for people in need of care and their relatives.
