The Dorna Sports, SL is a founded in 1988, international company with headquarters in Madrid . The individual business areas are sports management and marketing . The main shareholder has been the British private equity company Bridgepoint Capital since 2006 and the Canadian company Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) since 2013 .

The company is, among other things, the commercial rights holder of MotoGP and the Superbike World Championship .

In 1998 CVC Capital Partners became the majority shareholder. In 2006 they sold their investment to Bridgepoint Capital.
