Dorsten Diekmann (* 1960 in Osnabrück ) is a German sculptor .

life and work

Diekmann was trained as a stonemason and stone sculptor from 1976 to 1979 . From 1982 to 1985 he studied at the Art Academy in Flensburg. Since 1987 he has been working as a freelance sculptor in Berlin. In 1994 he moved to Lemgo , where he grew up.

Works

Diekmann's works can be found in Lemgo, Detmold and Extertal-Bösingfeld , among others .

As an example for his project Art in stone ( Art in stone ) is his sculpture balance called. Set up in Borger in the Dutch province of Drenthe , it consists of a partially polished hard stone, which is set up on a gneiss , as it were as a base.
