Dose Hermanos is an experimental band led by former Grateful Dead - keyboardist Tom constants and the MIDI experts and some producers Bob Bralove was founded in November 1995 (according to other sources 1996).

After the death of band leader Jerry García in August 1995, the members of the Grateful Dead devoted themselves to other projects. At this time Constanten, who had left the band since 1970, founded the keyboard band Dose Hermanos with Bralove . Bralove was a sound engineer for the Deads and already produced the albums Infrared Roses and Infrared Sightings there . He also played musical roles on albums such as The Arista Years or So Many Roads (1965–1995) . His tasks as a sound engineer included a. the programming of the keyboards, the special effects and spatialization.

In the winter of 1995/96, the first appearances took place, including appearances at the Knitting Factory , Wetlands Preserve and Cabaloosa in New York City . In 1997 the first album "Sonic Roar Shock" was released for these performances.

For further performances and albums, guest musicians were sometimes invited to support the two keyboard players. The last album "Bright Shadows" was released in 2004.
