The Dostluq Order ( Azerbaijani : “Dostluq” ordeni , in German: Order of Friendship or Friendship Order ) is an order of the Republic of Azerbaijan . When it was introduced in late 2007, it was the second lowest of eight orders in the Republic of Azerbaijan . Since the end of 2017 he has been the third lowest order of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
history
The establishment of the Dostluq Order was established on February 16, 2007 together with the establishment of the Şərəf Order by Law No. 248-IIIQ “On the Establishment of the Order of 'Honor' and 'Friendship' of the Republic of Azerbaijan” ( Azərbaycan Respublikasının “Şərəf ”Və“ Dostluq ”ordenlərinin təsis edilməsi haqqında ) decided by the deputies of the National Assembly of the Republic of Azerbaijan . The order was officially founded on March 12, 2007 with the signing of Decree No. 2029 by President İlham Əliyev .
The Order of Dostluq received a minor revision on November 25, 2013 with the signing of Decree No. 84, which brought into force Law No. 726-IVQD of September 30, 2013.
Award criteria and wearing style
"1. The 'Dostluq' Order of the Republic of Azerbaijan is awarded to the citizens of Azerbaijan, foreign citizens and stateless persons:
- 1.1. for a special service in developing friendly, economic and cultural cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and other countries;
- 1.2. for an outstanding service in strengthening friendship between peoples;
- 1.3. for excellence in the creation of peace and tranquility in the world, region and in different countries, in building constructive relationships between civilizations and in building intercultural dialogue.
2. The 'Dostluq' order is worn on the left side of the chest and in the presence of other orders and medals of the Azerbaijan Republic according to the 'Şöhrət' order. "
