The Şöhrət -Orden ( Azerbaijani : “Şöhrət” ordeni , in German: Order of Glory or Order of Glory ) is an order of the Republic of Azerbaijan . When it was introduced in 1993, it was the lowest of four orders in the Republic of Azerbaijan ; since 2017 he is the seventh highest of ten orders of the republic.

history

On 10 November 1992, confirmed National Assembly of Azerbaijan Decree no. 370 of the second President of Azerbaijan abulfaz elchibey about "the establishment of orders and medals of the Republic of Azerbaijan" ( Azərbaycan Respublikasının orden və medallarının təsis edilməsi haqqında ) with the initial four Orders Istiqlal , Shah İsmayıl , Azərbaycan Bayrağı and Şöhrət. With the Decree No. 757 of the third Azerbaijani President Heydər Əliyev of December 6, 1993 on the “Approval of the Statute and Description of the Şöhrət Order of the Republic of Azerbaijan” ( Azərbaycan Respublikasının “Şöhrət” ordeninin statutu və təsvirinin t.q.svirinin statutu və təsvirin became Order officially donated.

The Şöhrət-Order received its first revision on February 6, 1998 by amending decree No. 429-IQD. In 2007 the Şərəf-Order was founded and was appointed to the next higher order by the amending decree No. 460-IIIQD of October 17, 2007. The way of wearing changed so that the Şöhrət-Order is now worn after the Şərəf-Order and no longer after the Azərbaycan-Bayrağı-Order. With Decree No. 724-IVQD of September 30, 2013, the Şöhrət Order received a revision for the second time.

Award criteria and wearing style

"1. The Order of 'Şöhrət' of the Republic of Azerbaijan is awarded to citizens of Azerbaijan, foreign citizens and stateless persons:

for a special contribution to economic, scientific-technical, socio-cultural development;
for a special contribution in strengthening friendship and cooperation between peoples;
for exceptional achievements in industry, transport, communication, construction and other areas of the economy;
for a special contribution to science, education and health.

2. The 'Şöhrət' order is worn on the left side of the chest and in the presence of other orders and medals of the Azerbaijan Republic according to the 'Şərəf' order. "
