The Dovetief is a sea channel in the German Bight .

The Dovetief begins with the buoy and then continues in a southwest direction between the island Norderney and the upstream shoal Northwest reasons . The shallowest water depth is 3.2 meters above sea ​​chart zero . It is the main fairway to the port of Norderney and is marked with a lateral sign . With the gorge coming from the northwest , the Dovetief then merges into the Norderneyer Seegatt .
