The Dr.-Rudolf-Hatschek-Park is a 1,500 m² large Beserlpark in the middle of the Schrailplatz in Liesing. In addition to meadows and trees, the Beserlpark has seating and a Franz Schubert memorial stone, which was dedicated by the Atzgersdorf men's choir .

history

The park was named on May 19, 1954 by the City Council Committee for Culture in the name of the social democratic Atzgersdorf doctor Dr. Rudolf Hatschek named (1874-1939), of a victim of fascism was, as it after the annexation of Austria to Nazi Germany under the Nazis adopted the Nuremberg racial laws fell and was barred from conducting business.
