Dr. Mablues and the Detail Horns is a southern German rhythm and blues band that was founded in 1985 in Waiblingen , Baden-Württemberg .
Band history
The highlights of her musical career were the concert in front of 13,000 spectators at the Custom Bike Show in Dymchurch / GB and the Bridgeport Rhythm'n'Blues Festival in Connecticut / USA , where Dr. Mablues appeared in May 1997 as the only European band together with Chic , Ashford & Simpson , the Commodores and Isaac Hayes . At the Montreux Jazz Festival they were celebrated as “the discovery” when they first performed. At the SWR Hotjazz Festival 2000, Dr. Mablues was chosen as their favorite by the audience from 27 bands, and the SWR awarded them the Audience Award 2000.
