1 1 Osama 26th Mar 2007
The police psychologist Max Munzl is assigned to the Special Commission for Organized Crime . He should essentially take care of the team building of colleagues. The Soko team thinks this idea is nonsense and would like to get rid of the annoying Munzl as soon as possible. The team consists of the grumpy boss Hendricks, the stupid young Eddie, the gnarled and brittle policewoman Kerstin Winter and the drunk and disinterested Victor. Hendricks doesn't want to see Max at all at first. Max informs him that he reports to Kriminalrat Hasse and that he is therefore not subject to him. Max initially messes with his colleagues because he considers the terror suspect Omar ( Oktay Özdemir ) to be innocent. In front of all other colleagues, he exposes Victor as an alcoholic. In private life Max suffers from the separation from his wife Lena, she accuses him of not being viable. She begins a relationship with her boss Martin, Max insults him in public, which Lena is terribly embarrassed.

Omar must be released from police custody. He really has no contact with terrorists, but is part of a gang that raids a betting shop and takes hostages. Max offers himself as a replacement hostage for a pregnant hostage and is exchanged. Omar kills himself out of nonsense and Max persuades the other two hostage takers to give up. They are supposed to pretend to be hostages and exchange themselves. In a telephone conversation, Max had Lena informed about the trick in encrypted form and the police informed the police about it. Max helped to end the hostage-taking bloodlessly and to arrest the hostage-takers.

2 2 Blow job Betty Apr 2, 2007
Max and Lena go to marriage counseling. Max Lena makes serious accusations: she would not have taken him seriously. Lena accuses Max that their sex life together was disappointing. Soko is investigating the brothel owner Lemmi ( Peter Benedict ), whom they accuse of forced prostitution, but none of his prostitutes want to testify against him. Munzl suggests using an undercover club. At first Munzl is mocked for this suggestion, finally Hendricks agrees to the suggestion after Hasse wants to see results. Max and Victor, who has started drinking heavily again, go bugged as suitors to Lemmi's prostitute in order to elicit this information. Max accuses Victor of having started drinking again. Nothing can be elicited from both prostitutes and Max lets herself be satisfied orally by one of them - Betty ( Ellen Schlootz ). In order to humiliate him, Hendricks plays all of his colleagues in front of Munzl's moans.

Hendricks is happy because he thinks he can quit Munzl. Max sees that Martin pats Lena tenderly on the bottom. Max informs him that he is with the criminal investigation department and forbids him to touch his wife again. His dog "Freud" is a police dog and could "bite into its testicles". Max tries to find out on his own, but fails: Max escapes from the Lemmis brothel. Then Max hatches the following: He provokes Lemmi and Eddie and Victor beat him and his gorilla up in front of Betty's eyes. Psychologically, this leads to Betty no longer seeing Lemmi as a winner and deciding to testify against him. Lena, who finds Max attractive again, loses her interest because she believes Max is constantly cheating on her with the prostitute. The plot continues in the episode "The Only Witness".

3 3 The only witness Apr 16, 2007
The prostitute Betty no longer wants to testify against the brothel operator and human trafficker Lemmi. She is guarded by the police in a hidden apartment. Max manages to find out the real reason for her refusal. Betty has a son and doesn't want her to lose custody if she is found to be a prostitute. Betty goes into the witness protection program after all. Max continues to ruin the marriage counseling appointments with Lena, and Lena continues to estranged herself from him. Betty is now housed in a secret apartment. There she is also guarded by a BKA police officer - Achim. However, Lemmis' father regains custody and brings the son back.

Betty feels cheated by the police and moves in with Max. Max is now trying to win Lena back and hires an Indian group to play Lena with the Titanic theme song. When Lena visits Max, they both flirt violently and Betty is kidnapped by the gorilla Lemmis, the so-called "Yugo". Munzl finds out that the new BKA colleague is a mole Lemmis and helped with the kidnapping. Hendricks and Munzl grind Achim, so Betty can be freed and Lemmi can be convicted. When no one praises Munzl for his work, he praises himself in self-talk.

4th 4th The Turk Apr 23, 2007
The Turkish gangster Mustafa Ahkan ( Hasan Ali Mete ) deals in counterfeit medicines. The Soko has been trying unsuccessfully to prove something to Ahkan for a long time. The Soko brings a bugged V-man to Ahkan. Max says that the informant Serdar ( Sinan Akkuş ) will not make it because he is way too nervous. Victor doesn't want to know anything about it. Since Hendricks was not present, Victor asserts himself as senior citizen. The undercover agent is then actually nervous and is murdered. The department hides the total failure of Victor. He then promises the others not to drink anything until 6 p.m. every day. Munzl and Lena's marriage therapy continues to be catastrophic because Max is pathologically jealous. The suicide attempt by Ahkan’s German friend Sabine ( Tatiani Katrantzi ) opens up a new opportunity: Her attending doctor has prescribed psychotherapy for her. Max poses as her therapist and gains Ahkan's trust. Kerstin has trouble in her private life, her boyfriend has left her. She comes to Max's apartment that evening and talks to him about their relationship.

Then suddenly Lena and Martin appear to take a dresser with them. Max freaks out and throws them both out of the apartment. Ahkan is so grateful to Munzl that he invites Max to a party. There Max, bugged, tries to find out something about the drug deals. Max and Kerstin appear there as a married couple. Kerstin is seated at the women's table and Max desperately tries to find out something about a drug deal from Mustafa and his criminal friends. Max dances next to Mustafa and his friends, listening to a conversation. Lena breaks off marriage counseling with Max and informs him that she has started a relationship with Martin. The Turkish translator can find out information about the malaria deal from the minutes of the conversation. It then became possible to pick up Mustafa. The episode ends with Max sitting alone and sadly in his kitchen.

5 5 Bad art Apr 30, 2007
Lena wants to divorce Max. He tries to win her back, only makes it worse with derogatory remarks about Martin. The owners of a restaurant have been forced to pay protection money for a long time. The blackmailers Enver (Jens Münchow) and Draschko ( Heiko Pinkowski ) force them to buy works of art that the friend of one of the gangsters painted from them for expensive money. Max persuades the restaurant owners to testify against the blackmailers. The protection racketeers then devastate the restaurant. Max is so angry with rival Martin that he smears his car. The Soko simply decides to take action against the blackmailers outside of the law. The blackmailer's office is bugged without a court order. It turns out that one of the gangsters is very jealous of his "colleague", whom he claims to be approaching his girlfriend Svetlana (Katja Danowski). Max takes advantage of this weakness and plays both gangsters against each other, which leads to one attacking the other with a knife. Both can be arrested. Max, Lena and Martin try to have a serious conversation to put the differences to an end. To do this, they meet in the restaurant owned by the blackmailed restaurant owners. When Martin and Lena start flirting in front of Max, Max pours a glass of beer over Martin and pretends it was a mistake.
6th 6th The Polish mole May 7, 2007
Max is slowly being accepted by his department as one of theirs. When he celebrates his birthday, he experiences something like affection from his colleagues.

The Soko tries to pick up a Polish gang of car thugs, but not very successfully. A German used car dealer by the name of Rossbach (Fritz Roth) is targeted, suspected of being the mastermind behind the thefts. Hendricks got a tip that the Poles will strike in a certain parking garage. While waiting for the criminals, Eddie learns Polish from a book, which his colleagues initially cannot understand. Victor and Eddie arrest completely innocent managers there, causing considerable trouble. Chief Criminal Police Officer Hasse believes that there is a mole in the department. Hasse puts Munzl on his colleagues, he initially refuses because he does not want to work as an informant. However, Hasse made the seriousness of the situation clear to him: the alleged traitor almost shot an informant. From then on, Munzl spied on his colleagues. Eddie, Victor and Kerstin all suddenly behave suspiciously. Lena invites Max to a birthday dinner.

When she tells him how great the relationship with Martin is and she wants to move in with him, Max breaks off the conversation. Kerstin summons Rossbach and interrogates him, it turns out that Hendricks was with Rossbach in the choral society. Rossbach denies the allegations and admits that he admires the criminal who moves the cars. The colleagues find out that Max has spied on them and react to it with hatred and aggressiveness. When the mayor's car is stolen, the mood and pressure increase. Munzl informs Hasse that he has not found it. Hasse then tells him that he is either incompetent or a traitor. Hendricks is also starting to believe that there is a traitor. When Eddie introduces his Polish fiancée Elszbieta ( Aleksandra Odic ) to the others, Eddie is suspected. Hendricks wants to set a trap for this. He informs everyone of a new roster except Eddie. When Polish car thieves are arrested, the suspicion is reinforced. Eddie is suspended and Munzl still believes in his innocence. Max finds out that Rossbach bugged Hendricks' office. Rossbach can be arrested. Hasse praises the Soko exuberantly, but they are collectively insulted. The department reconciles with each other, but Max is broken: Lena wants to get a divorce and she has sent him the wedding ring. Eddie announces his engagement.
