Dragan Dimić (born October 14, 1981 in Straža Gnjilane ) is a Serbian football player .

Career

Dimić, who has lived in Austria since childhood , began his career at ASC Götzendorf in Lower Austria . In the winter break of 2006/07 he switched to the Austria amateurs . The offensive all-rounder made his debut in the second highest Austrian division on March 20, 2007 against Kapfenberger SV . The game ended 3-0. He scored his first goal for the amateurs on April 24, 2007 against SC-ESV Parndorf 1919 , when he scored the 1: 3 in the 2: 4 defeat on a free kick.

The Serb caused a sensation on October 28, 2008 when he scored the decisive 2-1 after a solo run against the clearly favored FC Red Bull Salzburg in the 93rd minute on matchday three of the ÖFB Cup .

Ten days earlier he made his Bundesliga debut against LASK Linz . Dimić came on in the 77th minute for Milenko Ačimovič . It was his only use in the professional team. In 2010 he left Austria and went to SV Horn in the Regionalliga Ost. After half a year, he dissolved his contract and moved to Japan to FC Machida Zelvia in the J2 League . In January 2013 Dimić returned to Austria. He joined the Wiener Sportklub for the second half of the season and played for Wiener Viktoria from the summer.
