Dragan Tarlać
Dragan Tarlać (born May 9, 1973 in Novi Sad , Yugoslavia ) is a former Yugoslav and Serbian basketball player who played at a height of 2.10 m in the position of power forward .
After starting as a professional at the Vojvodina Novi Sad club , he moved to the Red Star Belgrade . After a season there he went to Greece to Olympiacos Piraeus . After showing good performance there, he was appointed to the national team of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia . There was controversy about his citizenship at the time since he had accepted the Greek. After a solution had been found, he played for the Yugoslav national team in 1999 at the European Championship in France , together with Peja Stojaković and Milan Gurović .
In the summer of 2000 he left Greece and went to the United States for the Chicago Bulls , who secured his 31st place in the 1995 NBA draft . However, he did not prevail in Chicago and left the NBA after a year. After Yugoslavia won Eurobasket in 2001 , he returned to Europe, where he played for Real Madrid for two seasons. He ended his career at CSKA Moscow .
