Dragana Mirković ( Serbian - Cyrillic Драгана Мирковић ); (Born January 18, 1968 in Kasidol near Požarevac , SFR Yugoslavia ), is a Serbian folk and pop music singer .

Life

Mirković has been married to Toni Bijelić, an Austrian businessman with Bosnian-Herzegovinian roots, since 2000. From their marriage they have a son (Marko, * 2001) and a daughter (Manuela, * 2002). Since 2006, she and her husband have owned the TV channel DM SAT . The couple have also owned Ebenfurth Castle in Lower Austria since 2010 .

Mirković is committed to humanitarian causes. She lives in Enzesfeld .

Career

Mirković began her music career in 1984 with her first album Imam dečka nemirnog ( I have a troubled boyfriend ). She had her first successes in the 1980s with the Južni Vetar Orchestra . She celebrated her greatest successes in the 1990s. From 1984 to 2000 she released an album annually (except in 1998). Her next album was only released after a long break in 2004 ( Trag u vremenu ). The albums Luče moje (2006), Eksplozija (2008) and Dragana 20 (2013) were subsequently released .

For a newly announced album, Zašto me tražiš and Lepi Moj were released as start singles at the end of June 2016 . The album Od milion jedan was released in early 2017.

Awards

On February 16, 2006 she received the award for best and most successful singer in the Balkans from the Bulgarian music broadcaster Balkanika Music TV .
