Drago Pudgar (born September 27, 1949 in Črna na Koroškem ) is a former Yugoslav ski jumper .

Career

Pudgar began his international career with the start of the Four Hills Tournament 1970/71 . After skipping the first two competitions in Germany , he jumped to 68th place on the Bergiselschanze in Innsbruck . On the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen , Pudgar reached the 40th place and was 69th after the tour. A year later at the Four Hills Tournament in 1971/72 he started all four competitions for the first time and achieved the best individual result of his career with 21st place in the opening competition on the Schattenbergschanze in Oberstdorf . After further good results, including 23rd place in Bischofshofen, he finished 30th in the overall ranking.

At the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo , Pudgar landed 35th on the normal hill. He was able to improve significantly from the large hill and reached 23rd place.

Pudgar's younger brother Danilo was also internationally active as a ski jumper.
