Dragomir Dujmov ( Serbian : Драгомир Дујмов) (born March 17, 1963 in Szentes , Hungary ) is a Hungarian writer , poet and translator of the Serbian-speaking minority in Hungary.

Dragomir Dujmov spent his childhood in the Baja area in Katymár . According to family legend, his ancestors fled from Mostar , Herzegovina to the Hungarian Batschka in 1687 before the Turks. After graduating from the Serbian-Croatian grammar school in Budapest , he studied Serbian literature and language at the University of Novi Sad . He completed his studies in 1989. In the same year he returned to Hungary and began teaching at the Serbian Nikola Tesla Grammar School in Budapest.

Dragomir Dujmov is one of the most important representatives of Serbian literature in Hungary. Initially he mainly wrote poetry , later he concentrated on prose . From 1994 to 2003 Dujmov was a member of the Hungarian-Serbian Theater. Since 2004 he has been President of the Jakov Ignjatović Foundation .

Dujmov wrote poetry, novels, novels and the libretto for a rock opera ( Pastir vukova - Sveti Sava (for example: Shepherd of the Wolves - Saint Sava), Budapest 1994).
