Dreamer is a song by British rock musician Ozzy Osbourne , which he composed with Marti Frederiksen and Michael Jones . It was released in early 2002 as the second single from the eighth album Down to Earth .

The song was written three years before it was released (Copyright: Pearl White Music , 2000). Osbourne calls Dreamer his favorite Down to Earth song . He also often makes comparisons with John Lennon's Imagine . Lennon had a great influence on Osbourne, which is also noticeable in the line of text "After all, there's only just the two of us.", Since there is a Beatles song called Two of Us .
