Drei-Zinnen-Lauf

The Drei-Zinnen-Lauf (full name Südtirol Drei Zinnen Alpin Lauf; Italian: Corsa delle Tre Cime ) is a mountain run over 17.5 km and 1350 positive meters in altitude that has been taking place in Sesto ( South Tyrol ) since 1998 . It leads from the center of Sesto at an altitude of 1320 m first through the Fischleintal and the Zsigmondyhütte to the Büllelejochhütte, where after 14 km at 2528 m the highest point of the route is reached. The goal is at the Dreizinnenhütte at 2405 m above sea level below the Drei Zinnen .

From 2002 to 2006 a distance of 21 km was completed and a side competition over 13 km was held. In 2008, an alternative route of 11.2 km was run, which led to the mountain station of the cable car on the Helm (2050 m).
