Andrew Spencer "Drew" helmet (born November 9, 1984 in Jupiter , Florida ) is an American football player .

Career

Helm played from 2003 to 2004 in 19 games (3 goals) for the South Florida Bulls and in 2005 in four games (2 goals) for the Florida Atlantic Owls . After an outstanding performance at the MLS Combine 2006 , he was first selected by CD Chivas USA in the MLS Supplemental Draft 2006 . In his debut season in Major League Soccer , he came to eight league appearances, mostly short appearances. After the season, his contract was not renewed and Helm moved to Europe to the Portuguese fourth division club FC Marinhas , for whom he played a few games in the spring of 2007.

From summer 2008 to 2009 Helm played in Sweden for Bodens BK . In 2008 he rose with the team in Division 2 Norrland , the fourth highest Swedish league, and in 2009 he returned to Division 1 Norra as a season champion . For the 2010 season he no longer belongs to the squad of Bodens BK. In the 2011 season he returned and was used seven times. In early 2012 he moved back to Orlando City in the USA .
