Drew Paris (born March 12, 1988 in Pointe-Claire , Québec ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Cardiff Devils from the EIHL since 2017 .

Career

Drew Paris began his career as a hockey player with the Québec Remparts in the Québec Major Junior Hockey League , where he was active from 2004 to 2006. From there he moved to the Rimouski Océanic during the 2005/06 season , before he was active for two years with the Drummondville Voltigeurs from 2006 . In total, he played over 100 games here, in which he scored 20 goals in the regular season as a defender. In the 2008-09 season Paris made its first appearance in the American Hockey League . For the Rochester Americans he was there for five games on the ice. Up until the 2011/12 season, Paris switched (partly due to loans) between several AHL and ECHL clubs , before accepting his first offer abroad in the 2012/13 season : Paris moved to the Rhine for the Düsseldorfer EG . After the 2013/14 season he signed a contract with EC Bad Nauheim , a club from the second-highest German ice hockey league .
