The Dropla Gap (English; Bulgarian седловина Дропла sedlowina Dropla ) is an 850 m high, icy and flattened mountain saddle in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the north-central part of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains , it connects the Maglenik Heights with the Barnes Ridge, rising 1.35 km to the east . It represents part of the watershed between the Young Glacier in the north and the Arapja Glacier in the south.
American scientists mapped it in 1988. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2011 after the town of Dropla in northeastern Bulgaria .
