Drumuillie ( Scottish Gaelic Druim Múillidh ) is a hamlet in the Scottish Council Area Highland . It is located in the Cairngorms in the Abernethy Forest in the Spey valley , which passes Drumuillie two kilometers to the south. About two kilometers to the southwest is Boat of Garten and ten kilometers northeast of Grantown-on-Spey . The hamlet stretches along the A95 trunk road . Near Drumuillie are the remains of a historic cairn and a stone with cup-and-ring markings . Around 1870 a Pictish symbol stone was discovered east of the village . The fragment obtained measures around 185 cm × 45 cm and was used as a tombstone in a local cemetery. South on the bank of the Spey there was once a moth named Tom Pitlac .
