Dušan Mramor (born November 1, 1953 in Ljubljana , Yugoslavia , today Slovenia ) is a Slovenian economist, politician and was Minister of Finance of Slovenia from 2014 to 2016. He was already Minister of Finance in the cabinet of Prime Minister Anton Rop . This existed from the end of 2000 to November 9, 2004.

After the early parliamentary election on July 13, 2014 , Miro Cerar was elected Prime Minister and charged with forming a government. Cerar called the then non-party Mramor into his cabinet , a three-party coalition. The cabinet was sworn in on September 18, 2014.

From 2000 to 2002 and from 2009 to 2013 he was Chairman of the Board of the University of Ljubljana. He was a Recurring Visiting Professor at the Central European University (Budapest) and a Research Associate and Visiting Scholar at the School of Business , Indiana University (USA).

Before his appointment in 2014, Mramor was a full professor of finance at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Ljubljana .

On July 13, 2016, he resigned as minister.
