Duane Ross

Randolph Duane Ross (born December 5, 1972 in Shelby ) is a former American athlete who specialized in hurdles .

The greatest success of his career Ross achieved with winning the bronze medal in the 110-meter hurdles at the 1999 World Athletics Championships in Seville . He reached the goal in a personal best of 13.12 s behind the British Colin Jackson and Anier García from Cuba.

In addition, Ross was twice fourth in the 60-meter hurdles at IAAF World Indoor Championships ( 1997 in Paris and 1999 in Maebashi ) and reached the semi-finals in the 110-meter hurdles at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens .

Due to the results of the investigation into the BALCO affair , Ross was banned from the US Anti-Doping Agency for two years in February 2010. In addition, all of his competition results were retrospectively canceled as of November 2, 2001.

Duane Ross is 1.83 m tall and had a competition weight of 78 kg.
