Dub Inc (also Dub Incorporation ) is a band from Saint-Étienne in France. It consists of members with different cultural backgrounds. Their music is made up of Arabic rhythms, hip-hop , African beats, dub and reggae . The band's lyrics deal with political and social grievances such as poverty , lack of education , unemployment , violence and corruption and are sung in English , French and Kabyle .
The band was formed in 1998 by three members. The first album Diversité was released in France in 2003. It was launched in Germany in 2005. In 2004 the band received the FAIR award from the French organization Fond d'Action à l'Initiative Rock .
In February 2015 the reggae band New Kingston released the album Kingston City , on which Dub Inc can be heard on Today . Moritz "DaBaron" von Korff also produced the song Good Luck Charm for this work.
