The Dukes River is a river in the east of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
The river rises on the southeast slopes of Thebes Throne at the northern tip of Douglas-Apsley National Park , about 90 kilometers east-southeast of Launceston . From there it flows southwest through completely unpopulated area and flows into the St. Pauls River about one kilometer north of Mount Puzzler .
