Dumbutu (spelling variant: Dumbuto ) is a town in the West African state of Gambia .

According to a calculation for 2013, there are around 841 inhabitants, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 749.

geography

Dumbutu is located in the Lower River Region in the Kiang West District on the South Bank Road between Wurokang and Sankandi . Wurokang is around 3.8 kilometers north-northwest and Sankandi around 6.3 kilometers south.

One of the entrances to Kiang West National Park is in Dumbutu , and it is best connected to the Gambian highway network.
