Dume is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Dume belongs to the county and city (pt: Cidade ) Braga in the Braga district . The municipality had an area of 3.9 km² and 3251 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Dume, Semelhe and Real were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Real, Dume e Semelhe .
