Duncan Clark

Duncan McDougall Munro Clark (born June 22, 1915 in Greenock , † July 8, 2003 in Whakatāne , New Zealand ) was a British hammer thrower .

In the 1946 European Athletics Championships in Oslo he won bronze, and at the 1948 Olympic Games he finished eleventh.

In 1950 he won for Scotland starting at the British Empire Games in Auckland in hammer throwing and was seventh in the shot put. At the European Championships in Brussels he was sixth in hammer throwing.

At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 , he came in 18th place.

In 1950 and 1952 he became the English hammer throwing champion. On February 21, 1950, he set his personal best in this discipline in Christchurch with 54.89 m.
