Duscher & Gratzer are an Austrian moderator, entertainer and artist duo consisting of Hannes Duscher and Roland Gratzer . You live and work in Vienna.

Work as an artistic duo

The artists got to know each other on the ORF radio station FM4 . From 2010 they started working together. One of their first joint collaborations was the “Kleine Gitarrenkunde” on FM4. In the meantime, they moderate the weekly radio call radio show “Top FM4” on Friday evenings, thus taking over from “Salon Helga” with Stermann and Grisseman . In addition, they moderate seasonal phone calls such as "Unter Palmen", "Unter Palmkitten" or "Unter Tannen". In 2017 they won the Silver Radio Prize in the “Best Comedy” category.

In November 2018, Duscher & Gratzer also designed their first test broadcast for ORF, the 30-minute late night show with guests, songs and actionism. Her first guests were Thomas Brezina , Chris Lohner , Voodoo Jürgens and the European mini golf champion Karin Heschl. The programs were broadcast on November 21 and 27, 2018.

In addition to their work for public broadcasting, the duo is artistically active in a variety of ways. Every year the artists play and develop a play for the komm.st festival, which Roland Gratzer and his brother Georg Gratzer have been organizing in Eastern Styria for many years. It is an attempt to bring art and culture to rural areas as well. The pieces are played by a proven crew: Direction and co-author is Johannes Grenzfurthner , the founder of the artist group monochrom . Harald List, also a monochrom member. FM4 presenter Conny Lee and ORF editor and artist Lisa Semrad.

Duscher and Gratzer have had a band project of the same name since 2015. Duscher plays guitar, Gratzer bass, both of them sing. Alexander Kerbel sits on the drums. Her first single "Nadine" landed at the top of the FM4 charts in the summer of 2015. This was followed by the release of the single "Wart auf mi" (2016) and in the same year the EP "Wie shall des weiter geht". In 2018 the single "Es is aus" was released. On December 7th, 2018 Sissi-Records released the album of the same name.

In addition to their work as entertainers and musicians, Duscher and Gratzer also appeared in several films, for example in Glossary of Broken Dreams (2018) and Je Suis Auto (2019).
