Dustin Clare (born January 2, 1982 in Grafton , New South Wales ) is an Australian actor . His best-known roles are that of Gannicus in the Starz series Spartacus and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena and as Riley Ward in the series McLeod's Daughters .

Life

Born in Grafton, Clare grew up in Ballina , NSW and Maclean, NSW. Dustin studied at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in Perth and graduated in 2004.

In 2012 he was an ambassador for the Warrambeen Film Festival and is also an ambassador for the White Ribbon Foundation.

Career

From 2006 to 2007, Dustin played Riley Ward in 48 episodes of the McLeod's Daughters series .

In 2009, he played Sydney-born Christopher Dale Flannery in Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities and Sean in Satisfaction .

Dustin Clare's best-known role is that of Gannicus , Champion of the House of Batiatus , in the Spartacus series and in the prehistory Spartacus: Gods of the Arena .
