The Dusty Glacier is located in Kluane National Park in the Canadian territory of Yukon .
It forms part of the Kluane Icefield , which extends from the northeastern slope of the Elias chain to lower altitudes. The nursery area of Dusty Glacier is located between the ridges of Pinnacle Peak in the north and Mount Alverstone in the south at an altitude of 2,800 m . Initially it flows 35 km to the east. Then it meets the Lowell Glacier flowing in from the south . While the Lowell Glacier turns east, Dusty Glacier turns north and cuts through the ridge that has flanked it to the north. The Dusty Glacier then turns to the east again. After a total of 60 km, the glacier ends north of Lowell Peak at an altitude of 900 m . The glacier has an average width of 3.6 km. Below the glacier tongue , the Dusty River flows for a distance of 32 km in a north-northeast direction and finally flows into the Kaskawulsh River on the right .
