Dylan Hoogerwerf (born August 9, 1995 in Delft ) is a Dutch short tracker .

Career

Hoogerwerf started internationally for the first time at the Junior World Championships 2013 in Warsaw and took eighth place with the relay. At the Junior World Championships in 2014 in Erzurum , he achieved 21st place in the all-around and ninth place with the relay and at the Junior World Championships 2015 in Osaka he came 18th in the all- around and sixth place with the relay. His World Cup debut was in Montreal in November 2014 . He finished 35th and 24th over 500 m. At the European Championships in Turin in 2017 he won the silver medal over 500 m and the gold medal with the relay. In March 2017 he achieved 18th place in the all- around at the World Championships in Rotterdam . In the 2017/18 season he was twice in the top ten in the 500 m World Cup, finishing tenth overall. He also achieved his first podium finish in the World Cup with second place in the relay in Dordrecht . At the European Championships in Dresden in 2018 , he again won the gold medal with the relay. In February 2018 he ran at the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang to 11th place over 500 m. In the following season he finished 26th in the all-around at the 2019 European Championships in Dordrecht and 32nd in the all- around and fifth in the relay at the 2019 World Championships in Sofia . At the 2020 European Championships in Debrecen , he won the silver medal with the relay.
