E. Thayer Gaston

Everett Thayer Gaston (born July 4, 1901 in Woodward , Oklahoma , USA ; † June 3, 1970 ) was an American psychologist and pioneer of music therapy .

Gaston was a professor of music education at the University of Kansas . He has been in the Music Educators Hall of Fame since 1986 .
