Electronic Journal of Polish Agricultural Universities (EJPAU) is a quarterly journal of natural and engineering sciences from the agricultural universities of Poland .
History, foundation, concerns
The Electronic Journal of Polish Agricultural Universities was founded in 1998. The founding act was signed by representatives of the Polish agricultural universities. Representing the founders, Józef Szlachta summarized the concerns and goals of the new online journal. The aim of the journal was to create a modern, worldwide freely accessible information possibility on topics of agriculture and the environment. This should encourage communication and information exchange among scientists. It should be possible to publish in this journal quickly and easily in Polish and English. The review and approval of the articles should be done by the Centralna Komisja do Spraw Stopni i Tytułów (German: Central Commission for Degrees and Titles ). The editorial offices should lie with the individual agricultural universities. The technical editorial office was located in the Wroclaw University of Natural Sciences . The founders underlined the important role that the Internet plays in making their projects a reality.
