The University of Natural Sciences and Humanities in Siedlce (Polish Uniwersytet Przyrodniczo-Humanistyczny w Siedlcach ) emerged on October 1, 2010 from the Akademia Podlaska w Siedlcach , which was founded in 1969 as a Pedagogical University (Polish Wyższa Szkoła Nauczycielska ).
